A dog got a hold of my golden laced wyndotte and pretty much skinned her. I have antibiotic spray on her and loosley wrapped with bandages and noticed last night that she has a puncture in her esophogus. When she is drinking the water comes out and I am afraid she is going to dehydrate. I have been putting on surgi gloves and holding a finger over the hole while she drinks but need some ideas and how to dr this. I thought about attempting to sew it but rather that be a last resort. Does anyone know of something, a glue that can be used in a situation like this?

i know that the er uses plain old super glue on some gashes for people. You may be able to do that with the chicken to, provided you can stop the glue from going into the esophagus and causing other issues. maybe a small square of gauze can be held on there with the glue if you try that method?

Thanks, I was thinking that I read they used a glue, but was'nt sure if it was a special type... I think i could put just a dot and hold the hole closed until the glue sets..
