Chicken Has Worms Seeking Identification

Did you determine amount to give by weight?
The usual dosage of Equimax is 0.03 ml per pound of weight, so about 0.15 ml for a 5 pound hen. 1 ml syringes are available free at most pharmacies for giving these small doses. Dosage for other praziquantel containing medicines are different. Those include Zimectrin Gold horse paste, Drontal, or Droncit.

@Gypsi the Praziquantel dosage is 4.54 mg per pound in post 1 of this thread below:

If you can determine how much praziquantel is in your fish product, you can calculate the dosage if you have a weight.
Thank you. I will never use my current jar on just fish, so sharing it out, as long as it is safe, is ok. I know how much to give my dog, lol. Not that hens or dogs or even cats have tapeworms right now, but they are something that show up around here once in awhile. I've never seen segments in coop floor and I don't use deep bedding. My dogs clean up chicken waste out of the yard so someone would let me know. But I did save that post to my hard drive just in case
