Hello, I have a 4 and a half month old Mile Fleur D'Uccle.
I was fixing a light by my chicken's pen and it flashed for about eight to ten seconds.
My chickens freaked out from it, even though I was 10 to 15 feet away. And one of my favorite chickens, my only Mile Fleur D'Uccle started flapping it's wings before ramming it's head into the ground. Then it collapsed shortly after 10 seconds of making noise. Currently it's weakly breathing and twitching all over the place. I have it lightly wrapped in a towel and it's away from the other chickens. It's been about 8 minutes and I don't know what to do, please comment quickly. I am extremely worried about it.

I don't know either, almost sounds like she was frightened. Extreme stress in a chicken can look like they are dead, otherwise could she have fractured her neck? Has it improved any?

Oh dear....I'm very sorry to hear this. I am like the others, I don't know what happened here. It does sound like she was frightened and may have injured herself.

Do the best you can to keep her in a quiet calm area, once she is more alert see if she will drink a little water or if you have electrolytes offer that. Don't worry about food until you see that she is drinking well.

Please let us know how she is doing.
