This video is not for the feint of heart. Please don't click it if you are sensitive to the subject title. This happened tonight.

I am on my phone now and will answer questions and post more details when I get to a computer.

I hope she's ok. Geez, how scary! I've been wondering if this might happen with the automatic doors, now I know it can.

I checked on her this morning and she seems to be doing fine. The door I am using is the ADOR1 and it has worked flawlessly. Many people asked the designer of this coop door if it would kill a chicken and he said no. Well, now I have proof that it won't. I'm going to send him the video. Hopefully, that chicken will be a little smarter like the other ones next time the door closes. I'm using a YI Home Dome 720p camera that tracks motion. It seems to be holding up well in the coop. The plastic bin on the left is my watering bin. I turned a food container into a waterer and have some horizontal chicken nipples. For winter I put a fountain pump and an aquarium heater inside. I added a temp sensor that feeds a switch which both the pump and heater are plugged into. The turn on temp is 33 and the turn off temp is 37. If anyone wants links to the products I used let me know.
