If you were going to stock your coop with items to keep on hand at all times, what would they be?
I was about to order Blu-kote, just to have on hand, and thought... what else might I need?

So, if you would please, make me a list of the chicken-health or first-aid supply closet....

<<opening up chicken supply cupboard and peeking inside>> "Hmmm, what's in here..."

sock cuffs - chicken straight jackets for working on legs and feet

electrolyte with vitamin powder - I like the powder because I feel it will last longer

medical tape
gauze
neosporin
cornstarch - good for stopping bleeding

brooder - good place for an injured chook if it isn't already in use

Cardboard - works well for making boots for feet; could be used to stabilize broken body parts

I'm sure I will think of more but off the top of my head that's a good start.
