Chicken Injured Foot

My small bantam chicken loves us and follows us around she was trying to follow us in the house and the wind slammed the door shut on her foot. The bottom pad of her foot was torn and her foot is extremely bruised. It is now 5 days later and she still is not using it. What concerns me more is that she doesn't curl any of her toes in at all? Could this be a sign of nerve damage? Or that it is swollen? She is our pet and we love her so any advice would be helpful!

Oh so sorry that she got hurt. Is she getting around on one leg or do you have her in a crate? It does sound bad that she is not moving her toes. Maybe you could splint the foot and leg? She is hopping around on one foot and so I thought I would let her outside during the day but then opened the door to go outside and I have never seen a chicken hop that fast and squawklike that, went outside and there was a hawk sitting on our fence. So now she is inside until she can move around a little better.
