Chicken Laid Two Eggs Together??

I noticed one of my chickens sitting in the corner of the coop today. About 45 minutes later I went back out to check on her and there were two eggs in the corner where she had been sitting. One was very small (less than and inch diameter), dark brown and when cracked open it looked like a grape. The other one was unusually large, very pale brown and when cracked open it looked almost normal but the whites were a little milky looking and there was a small bloody looking membrane. Anyone else ever have this happen. She is a RIR.

Yes, it has happened to a couple of mine before. I think a hiccup in the system now and then is normal.
