Chicken leash?

Hi all,

My DH who is not interested in my chickens, would like to get a leash for one of our roosters, Four. This way Four can keep him company without my DH having fear of Four getting away.

Perhaps a leash that goes on one leg. Any ideas on where to get something like that?

You could use a small kitty or doggie harness and leash. Do a search for walking chickens on a leash...there are other posts about the topic and some pics of a chicken wearing one of them.

This sounds kind of interesting but I can't imagine any of my chickens being to happy about it. Do you have a website?

They get used to it, just like a dog or cat. I have two ferret harness' and leashes for my Seramas. Leon struts up ahead and pulls on his leash.

I use an adjustable cat harness. $5 or $6 at Petco.
