My hen had been losing feathers so I checked her out and could see tiny white bugs crawling on her. I treated her, my other hen and my rooster on Wednesday with sevin on them and in their run/coop. However, I am still noticing today they are all still scratching. Should I try elector PSP? Or wait the week and retreat with sevin?

I had these little ‘creatures’ once on my girls. I went straight for Xeno 450. I ended up treating twice with a two week break coz I read what they do to the girls.
I’m not familiar with the products you speak of but if in doubt throw everything at the little ‘creatures’ coz asking them to leave gently just ain’t gonna work.

Did you use dust or liquid and did you get it onto their skin under the feathers?? Apply around the vent and neck, under the wings, and on the belly and back.
Yes, I put it on their feathers and then would rub it in down to their skin, I made sure I put some under their wings, around their vents, and turned them on their backs and put some on their chests/stomachs. I think part of the issue is, their silkies and don’t take dust baths in their dust bath area. They will bathe in the sand and will also go bathe in our bark in our flower beds… I even, these last couple of days have set up a corral type area in the dirt hoping they would take a dust bath but no such luck.. they just stand in there
