I have had chickens before, but I’ve made a few mistakes. I have five sex link chickens and they are the sweetest girls I would like to learn about other breeds for my area That will withstand the cold,

Hello! Welcome to BYC! We live in Northern Indiana. We see plenty of winter weather in the teens and occasionally colder. I can attest Black Jersey Giants do well in cold weather as do Brahmas. I built in plenty of ventilation in our coup and I put clear pastic up on the run to keep cold winds to a minimum. Have fun on your next chicken adventure!
