Hello,

Our chicken is making strange gurgling noises when she breathes. She's open mouth breathing, has diarrhea, and is sneezing. She's lethargic. Not interested in food or water. No discharge from her nose. Her comb is blood red and droopy. Her tongue is white. We have separated her from the flock.
Any guess on what's going on and how to treat her?

Thank you!

hi! i’m so sorry to hear about this! i would suggest hand feeding some electrolyte water to her out of a spoon. i know she won’t want it, but it will hopefully help. i hope she gets better!

You might try NUTRI DRENCH via syringe (w/o needle) or soaking q-tip w it and putting next to her beak. It is designed for very weak chickens to help get them some calories and thus energy to help fight infection. I don’t know about what she had though. Thinking of you and your precious lady. ❤️

When my birds showed symptoms of gurgling, it turned out to be Infectious Laryngotracheitis virus.
