Ah chicken math!! Same thing happened to me! My coop was only meant for 4 birds then I saw 3 Easter Eggers that I had to have! Now part of their run in now their “coop” too so they always have plenty of space! I have to put some walls and such up on the fence to make it more coop like. Ahhg!!

Ha!! 25 five is defiantly a bad case of chicken math...... We splurged on a duck and 8 more hens this spring, looking for a welsh Harquin duck now two. And sista no one can help you now!!
