OMG...I started out just wanting 5-6. So I bought 5 and lost one. Then ordered 15...all healthy and happy...then today bought 7 more. I'm not up to 26! The problem is that I want some silkies and frizzles yet! Where am I gonna put all these chickens and what am I gonna do with all the eggs when they start????

I started out only wanting a few laying hens...

I now have nearly 200 birds (ducks, chicks, and laying hens) AND on impulse we bought a rabbit...now we have 6 adults and 7 babies...

oh and we rescued a kitten last month and got a free puppy...

lol It not just chicken math- it is animal math!

We already have 3 dogs! I want one of those fainting goats, but they r pretty expensive...so prob just buy some more peeps to make myself feel better! LOL

LOL I would love to have any kind of a goat, but DH and my DAD say NO Way (and dad owns the place, so he has say!)

I really want a llama or an alpaca, but I haven't gotten DH talked into it yet. There are always llamas for sale on CL.

Some of the mennonites over here have llamas, reindeer, buffalo, ostrichs, antelope, and other exotic animals...

I don't even have my chicks yet, but I am wanting more animals. I would like to have a couple cows, or goats...gotta have milk and butter to go with my chicken and eggs:D

barefootmom-I got a neighbor down the road that has 2 alpaca and a minature horse (forget what they are called) in their yard and it a tiny 1 acre lot.
