Hello from South Texas, I am completely new to raising chickens. I am very excited and looking forward to having lots of chicks in our life from here on out. I really like the silkies but was unable to find any locally and being so new to this was not sure where to order them from and was defiantly not brave enough to try to hatch any at this point, so I found a lovely group of chicks at a local feed store. My husband finds them amusing but my daughter I think has found her calling. She is in love with the babies. Well just wanted to say hello to everyone.
