Chicken noises

Hello,
I was wondering, around what age to chicks start sounding like grown up chickens? Mine are only 2 1/2 to 3 weeks old, and they are getting so big, so fast.

Mine are about 8 and a half weeks old, and they are now making some 'chickenly' noises, although they do still peep too. I hear real chicken squawks coming from there periodically, and some buk buk-ing too. One little roo keeps trying to crow and it is hysterical. It sounds like air going out of a balloon, but louder and longer, and kind of pitiful.

No 'buk-buking' out of my 11 week olds yet. And no crowing attempts out of my 6 week old cockerals.
