Good Afternoon from Michigan! My husband and I have been jabbering about getting chickens for about 4 years now and finally pulled the plug this spring with 4 Barred Rock hens. I'd been lurking on BYC for about a year prior and reading all the helpful info is what helped to push us over the edge. Haven't regretted a minute and I'm already planning next year's additions. Ha! Haven't even gotten eggs yet and I want more!
