Chicken not laying Maybe Egg Bound?

One of my 2 chickens that had quit laying has twice now sat on the nest but has not layed an egg. Could she possibly be egg bound. How can you tell and what can you do about it? She doesn't seem like anything is wrong when she is out walikng around in the back yard,

What do you mean ‘twice now sat on the nest’ ?
It doesn’t sound like she’s eggbound if she’s walking around normaly.

if your hen is egg bound you will definitely know it by her behavior. she will stand kind of hunched, and have her neck pulled back and relaxed posture kind of sleepy like. you might observe her straining sometimes. she may camp out in the nest box even over-nite trying to pass what is inside her. there will be a wet mess on her back side and she will be dead within a day or two. gratefully this does not sound like what you have going on with your hen.
your hen sounds like she is thinking about laying an egg or remembering there was some reason she needed to go to the nest box. she may be ready to start up laying again and having some false alarms.
just continue to watch her when you can and let us know.

What do you mean ‘twice now sat on the nest’ ?
It doesn’t sound like she’s eggbound if she’s walking around normaly.

By twice I mean two times she has sat on the nest for several minutes
