I got my chicks' run finished and built them a little breezeway to it from the coop w/ pallets. I used scratch and BOSS to lure them out of the coop for the first time in 3 weeks and...they sat down on the pallet to sun themselves!!
Later I waited a few hours and saw 4-5 brave hens in the run but no more than 5-7' from the entrance. CHICKENS!!
I guess like anything else keep allowing them to get more and more comfortable and this will improve, won't it? I need them out of the coop to do some regular cleaning and maintainance. Any suggestions from the members?
