Does anyone wanna weigh in on if they think this is a hen or rooster? Her waddles are super red compared to my others and he/she is pretty independent.

Eek I've never had one although I've dabbled with the idea. Do you know if 6 hens will be too few for one rooster?

It depends on the rooster. Start treating him like livestock stock instead of a pet, just mostly ignore him

Glad I found this. I was looking at my 12 week old and noticed how red her face was. She doesn't have near the comb and wattle size yours does.

Cockerel, but for more input, post in the breed and gebder section of the forum next time. My roo is a little baby and my friend has a lav orp and he is the sweetest chicken you have ever met. It really does depend on YOUR roos personality. Just give it some time.
