Glad you could join the flock! I've not kept buff orpingtons my self but I did have a black Orpington that some one gave me saying it was a hen. We named her Bernadette she was lovely and very friendly but for some reason she did not like my dog and would chase her. For the birds sake and dogs sanity we rehomed her with a lovely couple down the road. She turned out to be a he and is now called Bernie. He has made a fabulous bird and is very good looking and excellent with his girls.
I have read wonderful things about the buffs.

I have three buff orpingtons too. I just love everything about the breed. Their personalties, looks, eggs and hardiness. Do your's have names? Mine are Daisy, Gracie and Sunny.
