Chicken Parkansans?

It sounds like either an injury or vitamin deficiency to me. I would get a good multi vitamin, like poly-vi-sol (without iron) for babies and put it in her water. You could also give a couple drops direct by mouth daily. Keep her separated..if it is injury, it will take time to get better. It may not get better depending how bad it is. The vitamins are worth a shot and make sure she gets plenty to eat/drink.

Thank you Jenski & Jody! I searched & learned about Marek's. BYC have a lot of info. so I read...read....read....and learned. It took for a while because I'm Japanese and I had to translate some words to Japanese

Oh, Disease names are very difficult for me!!! (anyway, it's difficult even in Japanese, though LOL) I'm really appreciated with those good info. And after I read those info., I talked to John. and John read those info. too. And we thought it doesnt look like Marek's since she can fly, jump, walk without limping her leg. And she's eating & drinking well without my help.

This morning, she looks even better. She is still shaking her head back and forth but, she is eating & drinking well this morning without my help. And of course she tried to jump out of the box LOL Anyway, she is in my bedroom so, she is safe from everything.... like my kids, cats....dog.

Patchesnposies ... I heard about a vaulted skull thing before too but, I dont know about it well. So, this is good time to learn a new thing since I have many silkies here. So which means silkies have a highly risk to hatch with brain damage because of their head shape like that? That's something I should read & learn about too. Because so far, my silkies are hatched normally I think....I have some silkie babies here so, I'll keep eye on them.

horsejody ... My husband said there is no sign of having been pecked. Of course I checked her too and I couldnt find any signs eighter. BUT!!! I have two standard size adult chicken hens, some adult silkies, beautiful orpington kids from Jody & charlie(They are same age of my silkie chicks but, different sizes...) and one more my silkie chick(She/he is same age of this one who hatched at same day here) are all together in my coop. And there is the pecking order going on now. Especially my Black sex link & two orpington boys like trying to peck my silkie babies since they are the smallest one. I sometimes see my black sex link girl really bites my orpington kids....They are about same size, though. Yes, BSL is a very good girl & sweet to us but, not younger chickens.....I know there is the pecking order in the chicken's world all the time....but, I think they dont have to be that mean. So, if this was what happend to this little silkie baby.....They've been together in the coop for a while, though. I usually let those adult the free range so kids can relax in the coop during the day but, I'll keep eye on them too.

illinichick....How is your girl doing today? Is she eating & drinking well? Can she walk? She is breathing normally? I hope your girls is getting better.

Again thank you for all very much! Noriko. -P.S- I have PQ & BQ silkies. She is PQ so, she can see better than my BQ boys & girls, I think. And I'm using my kids Poly Vitamin Drops with Fluoride for my chick....so her teeth get better & stronger LOL

I hope Flouride is OK with my chick.

Thank you horsejody for a link! I'll go on the site & read it later. I have to pick my son up from his Pre-K around lunch time. I have to finish some stuff before that. Thanks again & your horse is beautiful!
