Hello! So I’m very new to having chickens and still have a lot to learn. Sometimes when I’m sitting down with the flock, my Rooster will jump on me and he’ll peck my head, sometimes a little to hard. He has been doing this ever since he was little. I don’t know if it’s a dominance thing or if he’s trying to find food in my hair lol. He has never attacked me and always comes running to me when he sees me. Sometimes he’ll even follow me around.
Should I put a stop to the pecking of my head? He’s about 23 weeks old.

Definitely stop it. You don't need to put up with it and can potentially be harmed. The only time a chicken has hurt me was one on my shoulder who pecked me in the eye. It watered for a day, but fortunately that was it.

Just brush him off and put him down when he does it. Be nice when he approaches generally, but if he pecks you, don't put up with it.

If he's pecking you, peck him back with your fingers. I also wouldn't let a cockerel near my face, if he turns human aggressive he could do serious damage if he's at face level
