Chicken/pheasant mix??

Has anyone ever tried or succeeded with breeding a pheasant and a chicken?

I have heard of it being done.Talked to a couple of people who once had some.Artificial insemination is your best chance.The guys I talked to did it natural.Hard to get them to breed naturally.They did it by penning them close together so they could see the other species breed.Hen and cock were kept separate then the divider was removed when the cock seemed very desperate to breed.I have seen Guinea and chicken crosses that occurred naturally while free ranging.

There is a forum on here that was posted by someone who had it happen on accident. They've been keeping everyone updated with pictures. You should see if you can find it. It's pheasant chicken hybrid or something like that.
