Chicken Plucker Question/Opinion??

We have decided to start raising meat chickens for ourselves and definitely didn't want to do it the way we used to. Plucking by hand. I thought of building a chicken plucker. Any thoughts or tricks? Can anyone tell me if you still have pin feathers? If i decided to cut there heads off can you still put them in the plucker that way? Thanks for your help.

Pluckers totally help. If the water temp is spot on, you won't have any pinfeathers. The only problem areas I have with my plucker are the wings. I usually finish those by hand. It is so worth it to not hand pluck...
