Chicken Poo Question

I have 6 buffs approx. 6 weeks old and I have noticed a thick chocolate syrup colored poo. Any suggestions as what may cause this and how to cure it?

Hi...I'm not a chicken poop expert but when I had a question about some different looking poop, I found this link in another thread:

It shows all kinds of poo, from normal (and there's a LOT of normal!) to abnormal

The poo you're talking about is called cecal droppings, and it's perfectly normal. Sticky and stinky though....YUCK. They will have normal poo, and then the cecal poo. They are just fine.

Thanks everyone that puts my mind to rest. I have them in the new hen house and they are loving it.
