Chicken poops everytime she lays an egg

Not much else to say about it haha. Anyone know why? Also, because of this issue she always has caked poop on her bum and I've had to clip feathers back to keep it from matting. Her butt is pretty bare now because she's lost feathers.

Also is it safe to use the eggs?

The poop would be on the outside of the eggs. What is eaten is on the inside. Wash the egg before you crack it and all should be fine. That is how I do it.

I just watched a U Tube video by a woman who said poop on eggs is an indication of worms . Don't know if that's true or not, maybe others know.
