Chicken Processing

How do I locate a processor for my birds if it is not something I want to get into myself?
Midcoast Maine area... Curious.

Feed store, extension office, local USDA office, phone book, butchers.

They call them meat lockers here. Just call and ask. Not very many around here.

I found a local poultry processor by calling all the "meat" processors in the area. Finally,one told me of someone that he was recommending.

Or, put an ad on Craigs list for your area.
