Chicken raising peachick when to let them out of crate?

The pea hatched on 6/23 so she will be 3 weeks old tomorrow.

I have her and momma Telah who is a standard araucana hen in a dog crate. At what age should I let them start going out? The momma hen usually free ranges during the day or did prior to hatch.

I was at a farm this past week & there were day-old peachicks free ranging with momma. I would think a 3 week old would be fine.

Let them out during the day when you can keep an eye on them. They will stay right with their mom and learn how to eat bugs, grass, etc. I would put them up every night and when you can't be around to watch them.
