chicken rejecting different colour eggs

My buff Orpington had a clutch of her own eggs and cream Legbar (blue eggs) under her. We've recently noticed that she has been rejecting the blue eggs and find them cracked open with nothing inside. Today is the due date so there should have been fully formed chicks inside. Has she been eating the chicks? I cant think of any other reason only blue eggs would be rejected and be completely empty.

Yes we candled a few of them and they were definitely fertile
