Chicken Respiratory issue

I rescued this chicken from my son's flock after she had been pecked by the other birds. At first, she displayed symptoms of wry neck, like putting her beak down and walking backwards. She improved after I treated her with Vitamin E. Then it started to struggle breathing and continued to do so for more than a month. I treated her with Safeguard (fenbendazole) Equine dewormer 25gr paste 10% (100mg/g). I administered her two doses, each about the size of a pea, ten days apart. It did not make a difference. Then, I administered her 20mg of Doxycycline Hyclate once a day for 5 days. It did not help. I gave her a VetRx and supplements (electrolytes, probiotics, and acidifier). I have given her coconut oil and massaged her throat several times daily, but there has been no improvement. Her crop is empty in the morning, and after eating, I massage it until it becomes puffy and very soft. She still eats some, drinks lots of water, coughs, sneezes, and gasps for air. Nights are depressing. She sleeps in my garage, and I can hear her from the house, see videos. Her beak has become too long, which makes it hard for her to drink water. Because of her respiratory condition, I am hesitant to trim it because she will run out of air. Her feces appear to be normal. I am currently giving her Vitamin B complex. She only eats dry food (layer crumbles), she chokes on anything wet. I can constantly hear a noise when she breathes, and in addition, I hear a grinding noise when she eats. She's very lethargic, stays in the same spot for hours if I don't stimulate her to move. You can hear the noise associated with her breathing in some videos, particularly those at night. It almost sounds like a person with asthma. Could you share your thoughts, please? It's heartbreaking to witness her suffering like that. Thank you

Videos can be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo or similar site with a link posted here. It would be helpful to see her breathing. Have you looked inside her beak for any cankers or yellow material inside that might be blocking her throat? Does she have a bad odor? Fenbendazole dosage is 0.25 ml (1/4 ml) per pound of weight given for 5 days. Doxycycline dosage is 20 mg for every 2.2 pounds of weight daily. That can treat MG in chickens, but she could have a virus or fungal infection. So it could be that she was underdosed on that and the wormer. Beaks can be trimmed slightly with a dog nail clipper or file. Here are some pictures of canker in chickens:

Thank you very much for your response. I uploaded some videos. I did not see anything suspicious in her mouth and no odor. The Fenbendazole that I used is a paste, not liquid, and I found that 2 doses, 10 days apart, should suffice, see https://poultrydvm.com/condition/gapeworms#google_vignette. I used Doxycycline Hyclate 20mg for 5 days, but the chicken is getting worse. She's not a big girl, and I thought 20mg/day is good enough. I can't address the beak issue yet, because she lacks air, and I don't want to do anything until her breathing improves. Please help me and her! Thanks again.

Fenbendazole horse paste and the liquid goat wormer are both 10% and given at a dosage of 1/4 ml per pound of weight. Pea size can vary and is not accurate. Giving it once and in 10 days only treats roundworms. If you give it at the dosage I gave you, it can treat most chicken worms including gapeworms and capillary worms which might affect breathing. Getting an accurate weight by a kitchen scale or by weighing yourself holding her, then subtracting your weigh, is best for medicating. Doxycycline dosage is 20 mg per kilogram (each 2.2 pounds.) Be aware that Poultry DVM is just a website. They are not affiliated with any college vet school or official scientific source. I haven’t seen any video links posted.

She may need selenium (in addition to the Vitamin e) - more for the nerve/neck issue, but I think they can have what seems to be breathing issues, but it's due to lack of selenium which helps with nerve function. PS When treating with Vitamin E & Selenium, it's best to supplement for 3+ weeks. It takes a long time to fully recover from a deficiency otherwise chicken will "rebound" back to being bad pretty quickly.

The chicken weighs 4.8 lbs. Should I treat her with Doxycicline Hyclate 40mg/day AND Fendenbazole 10% simultaneously for 5 days? How much Safeguard, since the one I have is a paste?

Most of the the time a bit of scrambled egg daily can provide plenty of selenium. Selenium can be overdosed, so I usually recommend the egg. I can’t see the videos. For some reason it says to sign in to confirm I am not a bot.

Thank you. She won't eat anything that is not dry. Yesterday, I gave her scrambled egg, she won't touch it. She only eats layer crumbles, not a veggie, nothing else.
I am not sure why you can't view the youtube video.
