Chicken Respiratory issue

Did you expect her to get any better by now? She just got her 3rd dose of Doxycycline about 2 hours ago. Anything that you might think of, to save her? She became like a pet for me. I don't raise chickens, I don't know much about it, or who to contact. I just tried to save her life after she got pecked pretty badly by the other ones. I am heartbroken to see her suffering like that, but I don't have the strength to end her life.

I rescued this chicken from my son's flock after she had been pecked by the other birds. At first, she displayed symptoms of wry neck, like putting her beak down and walking backwards. She improved after I treated her with Vitamin E. Then it started to struggle breathing and continued to do so for more than a month. I treated her with Safeguard (fenbendazole) Equine dewormer 25gr paste 10% (100mg/g). I administered her two doses, each about the size of a pea, ten days apart. It did not make a difference. Then, I administered her 20mg of Doxycycline Hyclate once a day for 5 days. It did not help. I gave her a VetRx and supplements (electrolytes, probiotics, and acidifier). I have given her coconut oil and massaged her throat several times daily, but there has been no improvement. Her crop is empty in the morning, and after eating, I massage it until it becomes puffy and very soft. She still eats some, drinks lots of water, coughs, sneezes, and gasps for air. Nights are depressing. She sleeps in my garage, and I can hear her from the house, see videos. Her beak has become too long, which makes it hard for her to drink water. Because of her respiratory condition, I am hesitant to trim it because she will run out of air. Her feces appear to be normal. I am currently giving her Vitamin B complex. She only eats dry food (layer crumbles), she chokes on anything wet. I can constantly hear a noise when she breathes, and in addition, I hear a grinding noise when she eats. She's very lethargic, stays in the same spot for hours if I don't stimulate her to move. You can hear the noise associated with her breathing in some videos, particularly those at night. It almost sounds like a person with asthma. Could you share your thoughts, please? It's heartbreaking to witness her suffering like that. Thank you

She weighs 4.8lbs. I gave her Doxy Hyclate 40mg/day. So far, she got 3 doses, but I don't see any improvements. How soon should I notice any improvements. I tried honey in worm water, but she did not drink any, I will try again in the morning. Nights are terrible for her, worse than during the day. She's gapping for air all night, see here:

My chicken condition got worse. I treated her with Doxy, 40mg for 5 days. Now, she can't breathe, especially when she tries to lie down. As soon as she lies down, she gets into something like a seizure, opens her mouth very wide, jumps and flaps her wings. It is absolutely disturbing. When she breathes, I hear almost like a valve opens and closes. Can that be mucus? Can I try Guaifenesin expectorant? If yes, what dosage, please! I need help ASAP. Thank you

Guaifenesin can be used in poultry diluted in water. I would be cautious with it. I am having trouble finding a dosage. One source said 1 ounce (30 ml) per gallon of water, but I cannot find a dosage recommended by a vet. I would probably use 5 ml in a quart waterer to see how she tolerates it. Your Ohio State poultry vet can help with a diagnosis or a necropsy if you should lose her. Here is a list that includes their contact info:
