Hi,
I have been wanting to make a chicken run (of sort -without the Coop) and place it in different parts of the garden so the chickens can spend their time in these enclosures.
I am thinking of creating a simple rectangular box with mesh all around with the entry/exit door on top - I want it small enough, so i could still reach all the corners to move them to their coop at the end of the day but still large enough for the 4 chickens to have enough room to roam around on the garden beds.
I also thought of have a base - and wrapping some PVC pipes on the top to arch across the base - but i see that would be a challenge to move the birds back to their coop.
Any suggestion would would greatly appreciated.
