Chicken run material

Ok does anybody have opinion on whether 2"x4" galvanized wire for my run is appropriate or should I wrap it it with chicken wire? I've attached a photo. I will have chicken wire for roof and the lower 2 feet is constructed of 1/2 inch mesh. My pen is a day time pen also so birds are locked up at night.

Weasels would be my main concern as they can squeeze throughout a 2by 4. I know they are nocturnal but...

We lost 4 to weasels, unless you burry your fence they can squeeze through almost anything. They opened the window of my coop about 2 inches or less, no exaggeration, and drained 4 hens blood,left them half alive. We have glass, screen and bars now on our windows. It was at night though, so you're probably ok. They do dig under fence so a safe coop at night is your best bet

Do you have weasels?
What predators are you trying to keep out?

Your run is almost exactly like mine, but I live in NJ.
No smaller predators that can squeeze through the 2x3 fencing I used as a base.

My run was built to withstand a 200 pound dog attack.
