chicken run

Ok while i am waiting on help to build my coop I will make my wire run! Question?? I have the spot picked out but its half under trees & some not under trees, will this be a problem? The hens will be in shade & sun area, I will enclose the run with a wire top, Sugestions appreciated!

That should be fine. The chickens need sun, but if it is too hot, they will have a place to go to.

Sounds like an ideal location for a run...both sun for cooler days and shade for hotter days.
