Hi and welcome to BYC We're so happy that you've decided to join our little flock I'd probably also put 2' of 1/2" hardware cloth along the bottom of your run with a no dig apron. There are a lot of four legged predators that reach through chicken wire to get at birds.

X2! Something I've heard suggested before is making a hideaway for your hens in the even that a hawk is present. Basically, you take a sheet of plywood, and a 4 x 4 x 8 and cut the 4 x 4 in to 4 legs. Screw the legs on the corners of the plywood and you have a table like object that your girls can run and hide under if necessary.
