chicken scratch recipe needed

any suggestions for recipes of scratch?
and how much and how often do you usually throw out to them?

I don't have a recipe, but would love to know one too!

I toss out scratch each morning when I let them out and then again randomly if I am out there with them. I use it to teach them to come to me. I generally just toss out a few handfulls and they are good. I also alternate the scratch with sunflower seeds (the black oil kind). Yummy stuff!
