chicken seems stressed and is losing feathers after week of construction.

My 1 year old Polish girl has been pulling out her own feathers this week. We had a new chicken run built in our backyard to better protect our flock. In order to do this, we had two carpenters making a lot of noise in their area for 5 days (not all day long, but about 1/2 day each day). Out of 5 chickens, she is the only one exhibiting this behavior. She is normally our most confident chicken. All of her tail feathers are now missing and the feathers on her body are greatly reduced. I feel so bad for the little gal. We were going to have a fence put in as well, but now I'm wondering if I should avoid any more construction.

She is probably offended by all this activity, but keep your project going because it will be good when done. Look at your birds at night, with a flashlight, for mites or lice, around their vents, neck, and under wings. And also maybe she's molting right now too.
Maybe offer some treats during this noise event?
