Chicken shows in Oregon?

Ok, I'm seeing all these people that go to auctions and are able to buy birds and eggs and all that good stuff. So I'm wondering where these auctions and shows are in Oregon and how to find them. Do I have to wait for the state fare? I'm in the Willamette Valley so anything relatively close will do.

So, can anyone help?

There is an auction in Woodburn on Tuesday mornings that sells poultry. Sometimes it's hit or miss, but there are some sellers with really healthy nice birds- me included

. There is a good sized show coming up in April in Stevenson, WA -it's just across the bridge from Cascade Locks. There are very few poultry shows in Oregon.

My MIL works at the Woodburn Auction every Tuesday (selling overstocked groceries and veggies). Great auction not only for animals but everything. I would say one of the best in the state.

Ok, so a couple follow up questions. The auctions in Woodburn. Where is it located in Woodburn? I would love to go.

Second question. The show that's in Stevenson, WA. Can you just show up and look around or do you have to buy tickets or something. I've never been to a show before so I have no idea how it works.

Isn't Cottage Grove near Gaston? That's really close if I'm thinking of the right place. I haven't seen anyone on here that's in my area. That's pretty cool. I felt all alone. Unless I totally have the location wrong.

No, I haven't been to the auction, I did go to the auction site with my parents last year. It was a few days before the auction, they bought a big truck with a crane on it for their mobile welding business.
It is right off the main drag, I'm not sure the street name though.

Cottage Grove is NOT near Gaston-Gaston is near Forest Grove. Cottage Grove is near Corvallis-sort of.
