Chicken shrubs

Howdy y'all,
I am looking for different types of shrubs I can plant around my chicken pen that is safe incase they eat any. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for mainly greenery

Smaller fruit trees, viburnums. lilacs; local native plants are great too. Blueberries in acid soil, yummy! Rasberries and blackberries. Mary

Most herbs are good and good for them. Depending on your growing zone lavender is great. Mint if you want something that will take over in the spring/summer, it keeps them cool if you feed it to them in the summer & can be cut and put in the coop and pen to keep the flies away & smells good.
