Block the nests an hour before roosting time, uncover when you lock up after dark.

Are your roosts higher than the nests?
Dimensions of coop and number of birds?
Are all your birds the same age, or do you have younger ones in the flock?

Block the nest box at night.

Roost time can be a contentious situation. Is the chicken in question getting bullied in general? Where is she in the pecking order? How many chickens and what amount of roost space do you have?
