Hi
I have a hen who is 5 who has developed 'sniffles'
The night before last I was putting them to bed and I noticed she sneezed twice, but it sounded different from a irritable sneeze like she got something up her nose. I observed her and she was doing normal chicken stuff and I had been with them majority of the day and had notice anything out the ordinary. The following morning I noticed when she was eating she sounded stuffy / congested and has slight runny nose, clear discharge. Separated her immediately.
She's sneezing, sounds slightly congested at times mainly around eating, and slight clear discharge from nose.
No runny/ bubbly eyes. No mouth breathing.
She's had poultry tonic and vetrx. It's bank holiday in the UK so can get her in a vets, I can't get antibiotics online or in stores here.
She had good appetite yesterday. Seems slightly more subdued today.
The rest of the flock are not showing any obvious symptoms as yet.
Backstory: I added 4 new hens to my flock of 3 ( 7 total) approximately 5 weeks ago. I kept them separate for 2 weeks before introducing and they showed no signs of illness
Any thoughts, suggestions would be great
