I had a Rhode Island Red that was a hermaphrodite. She/He looked like a ungainly,ugly large hen. The hens ran her and the roos ignored her. Occasionally she would lay a very long egg, but as she got oder,more male characteristcs emerged and the eggs stopped. Then, I put some new hens and he went crazy,trying to mate them. Then came the neighbor's dog attack and he was lost,along with all of the others.
