Chicken stopped laying.

My Rhode Island Red started laying a couple weeks weeks ago. She layed an egg a day for about a week and a half, and then stopped. It's been about 4 days since the last egg. I'm wondering if this is just an irregularity because she's young or something worse? She's not molting, and besides she's to young for that. Thanks in advance.

Most hens lay unpredictably. I find it more odd when a hen had a regular laying schedule. Some higher production breeds like sex links can keep up an egg a day for month, but most breeds lay a few than take a break. Others lay every few days throughout the season. To optimize production make sure to feed a good ration, and limit extras. Hens need protein to produce all those eggs.

Yes, pullets new to laying will often be very unpredictable for at least a couple weeks.
