I need help!! One of my ladies, she was well about 30 minutes ago until she started to duck in a dark corner and become lethargic! As I type this, I’m trying not to freak out because this has happened before with another chicken of ours; this one sadly didn’t make it. My girl is gasping for air almost, doing open mouthed breathing. She’s very lethargic and her wings are drooping, her eyes half closed and she’s just… hiding. She’s a bit of a feisty one but right now she’s letting me hold her and cuddle her :( The rest of the flock seems fine, it’s just her! (Picture of her in my personal part of my yard, brought her over to coffee table to give her nutridrench and check her all over) If it helps she’s 2 years old, turning 3 in February. Currently she is starting to have trouble lifting her head.

Does she have something stuck in her throat?
Nothing in her throat. I did accidentally leave the dried mealworms out for a good part of the day. We enjoyed watching everyone enjoy their treat at the beginning including her. Could this be related to eating too much protein too fast? We isolated her, gave her water with electrolytes and are massaging her crop. I could feel a solid golf sized shape in it. She seems to be a little more alert, so we have hope. She pooped watery white stool while I was holding her.
