Well i dont know how to delete this. I just meant 4 it to be cute, as i received it from a long distance family member who knew i knitted and had chickens i love I wouldn't really let my hens run around with sweaters on but the comments are brutal!!

It is a cute concept. Not practical but cute other wise it's probably a prop for the next family photo .

I think the knit part just makes us all worry how it could harm a hen

Well, it's probably not so bad if you have two or three silkies, and they're house pets wearing well-fitted sweaters for a few hours every now and then, but yeah.

Anyway, I don't see how it could hurt a hen to wear it temporarily (an hour or so of supervised dress up--I mean, I wouldn't do it, but really? Not really a hen-killing evil.)

Those are some really nasty comments, though. Seriously. Makes me a little embarrassed looking at them.
