Hey Folks,
Just a question for people to ponder.... I have been searching for more material on chickens that I can pass on to the kids I work with. I am building a binder for the avian course that I teach and I need more INFO!!!! Anything could help, activities, handouts, reading material, whatcha got for me? I have already done the egg drop project with them (..and I had a 11yr call me a murderer, even though we used store bought eggs), going to do cooking with eggs. I just wanted to see if anyone had some ideas.

But seriously. It really IS an article about training your chickens. It just makes me laugh... I can't wait to try it.

Have you tried a hatch of chicks? I know it takes like 21 days but it is fun. The pre-kindergarten here does it every year! They do chickens, pheasants,ducks you name it. The kids love it too! If I think of other ideas I'll let you know!
