hi everyone, i have a rooster that recently just started haveing a throat problem. when he breathes it kinda sounds like a diesel. i think its some mucus in his throat. it doesnt seem to bother him and he is in perfect condition with no issues besides the diesel sounding throat. i tried researching around but came up empty. dont know what it is. is there some meds or something i can do to get rid of it? any help appreciated.

if his weight and appetite are good you might add some apple cider vinegar to his water. raw is best if you can find it. add about 1 tablespoon to 1 gallon of water and give for 1 week.

do you know what my chicken has? does it have a name? and thx for the help

there are several respiratory illnesses in chickens, raw apple cider vinegar kills probably 90% of them. no I'm not sure what it is but if the vinegar doesn't seem to help in a day or two, start some antibiotics in the water (most of them will be fine mixed with the vinegar).

I hope this helps.
