Chicken toys

I know this may seem like a silly question but do chickens like toys? If so what kind of toys they like?:cd Thank you!

Hello & welcome! I don't know that they enjoy toys per se, but they do enjoy entertainment of sorts. A cabbage hung as a tetherball for instance will keep them amused for ages! Hang it just almost out of reach to make them work for it, it's entertaining to watch them attacking it! During winter months especially, it's important to keep them occupied otherwise they will pick at each others feathers because of boredom. As you already know, chickens are smart birds - that's why they chose you as a 'mama' !

For entertainment we put a couple of green crabs in their compound and they had a whale of a time chasing after these beasties.
They were sensible enough to back off when the crab raised it's claws but they certainly were very curious and ran after them.

We live close to the shore so the crabs were returned. Unharmed I may add.

So yes, they do like to be amused.
