I have three lovely chicks that are just about 5 weeks old. We have been bringing them out on the weekends for about 2 hours a day to get some sun and fresh air. Right now they have a 4' high hardwire cloth enclosure to keep them out of trouble that we quickly fashioned up without a roof. Since their coop won't be built for another month or so as it is still too cold in NY for them, I figured a chicken tractor would be perfect for them. I want something a bit more secure for them so I don't have to watch them every moment I am gardening and playing in the yard/garage. Any sources or websites where they have an inexpensive option would be greatly appreciated! I was thinking of an a-frame option once I saw this (link below) but think it will be two small for the three of them- especially when they get older as it would be great to have something that works when they are full grown! I don't have the time to build anything right now otherwise I would just build it!

Thanks for your help!

So I had a few hours this week to put together a "chicken tractor" I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out- next week I will add handles and wheels! Doming the top allowed me to not have to frame it out- I had all the materials in house!
