Hi! All Done!

(for now) You can see my watering system (flows from the upper rafters... an "upstairs" nest box (not giving them access yet, but will be a series of rooting stairs) Two nest boxes (boarded up until fall). An electrical system for later lighting needs. Sliding door to access run, and it's hard to see, but there's a little screen door on the run so they can be shooed in when necessary. I have a grate under those shavings with linoleum lining (2 inches below) and I decided to start throwing the shavings on top so that as they poo and scratch, they force it through the grate. It keeps it cleaner a little longer than just letting the poo stick where it lands. I forgot to take pictures of the back wheels... they need be bigger.

Wow that is so cute!
Hou do you feel about some clear plastic for the roof for when it rains...

I love the whole thing

We talked about a shingled "porch" for some added outdoor shelter, but the husband has that on the back-burner. For now, we just let them go in and out of the coop on those days.

The grate is actually flooring for kennels they sell at our farm supply store sold in bigger sheets (I don't remember the exact size). It was about $17 I think. If I would have had crates though... I would have definitely used them!
